PDQ Workholding and Tooling is looking for a full time office assistant. Job duties are listed below.
- Answer telephones and direct calls in a professional, courteous manner.
- Meet and greet all visitors with professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy.
- Assist CEO, Controller, and HR Manager, or any other supervisor as required.
- Draft letters to customers, suppliers, and others as required.
- Maintain sign-in sheets for all persons visiting the company.
- Pick up or deliver mail, parts, or other materials as requested.
- Deliver messages and packages timely and with urgency.
- Pick up office, breakroom, and conference room supplies.
- Monthly inventory on the Impact CNC logo items.
- Draft monthly Newsletter for all restrooms.
- Maintain and order office supplies through M2M.
- Work with other employees when requested / required on special projects.
- Maintain and update monthly Power Point.
- Setting appointments and arranging meetings.
- Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications.
- Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process, and informing candidates of their hiring status.
- Preparing new employee files for orientation and maintain and update weekly New Hire List.
- Scheduling Annual Company Photo, Annual Employee Cookout, and Christmas Party.
Qualifications
- Personable, professional, and courteous demeanor and appearance.
- Good telephone skills and etiquette, computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook, copiers and other office equipment as required.
- Excellent basic math and spelling skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and focus through project completion.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
